Code of conduct

Solana Build Kenya is a gathering of builders. Everyone who attends, speaks, demos, volunteers or partners agrees to these rules.

    Be respectful

    Treat every participant, speaker, volunteer and venue staff member with respect, whatever their experience level, background, gender, religion, ethnicity or ability.

  2. 02

    No harassment

    Harassment, intimidation, discriminatory jokes, unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention, and disruption of talks are not tolerated, in person or online.

  3. 03

    Demo, don’t shill

    The stage is for showing products. Token promotion, price talk and investment solicitation are not part of the showcase.

  4. 04

    Respect consent

    Ask before photographing or recording someone up close. Respect the lanyard or badge signals people use to opt out of photos.

  5. 05

    Protect people’s data

    Do not share other attendees’ personal details, wallets or project information without their permission.

  6. 06

    Speak up

    If you experience or witness a problem, tell an organiser or volunteer straight away. Reports are handled in confidence.

Organisers may take any action they consider appropriate, including removing someone from the event. To report a problem, contact solanabuild@ecosystem.ke.
